Kevin Aoki, founder of the Aoki Group, added “Inaka” (countryside) comfort food dishes to the menu in order to present his experience visiting his grandfather’s hometown in Wakayama, Japan. It comprises of Chicken Gizzards, Kobe Beef, and Jidori Chicken, free-range bred, cruelty-free, and fed without hormones or steroids and given an all-natural grain diet. Signature delicacies such as Filet Mignon, Lobster, Foie Gras, and A5 Wagyu beef imported straight from Japan are also available on the menu. At the family-style “Teppanyaki” (iron plate grill) tables, professionally trained chefs arrive in sleek black, Samurai-inspired uniforms, ready to cook customers’ dishes in a flaming and dramatic performance, coining the famous word “eater-tainment.” AOKI Teppanyaki provides a one-of-a-kind eating experience.

AOKI Teppanyaki Miami has a variety of menu selections from Teppanyaki to Izakaya dishes. As a restauranteur, Kevin believes that good things always happen when two things are involved: flavorful food and being in the company of friends. The Teppanyaki menu consists of Inaka style dishes and guests may choose from a variety of menu items, such as Chicken Gizzards, Kobe Beef, and Jidori Chicken (free-range chicken fed with all-natural ingredients), all of which have been meticulously selected from high-quality Japanese markets. Filet Mignon, Lobster, and A5 Wagyu beef are among the other specialized offerings. Guests may also enjoy a wide variety of Izakaya dishes such as Deluxe Maki Rolls, Sushi, and traditional Japanese Izakaya hot dishes.

AOKI Teppanyaki offers semi-private areas, “Pacific Eagle,” “Rocky’s Room,” and “Legend’s Room” are available for private events up to 20 persons each. Our Izakaya dining room is also available for private event bookings with seating available for up to 120 persons. It’s a perfect dining option to enjoy time with friends and family or celebrate special occasions such as birthday parties, work gatherings, or graduations.
